오랜만에 배트맨 리턴즈를 틀었는데 다시 봐도 히어로물이라기에는 어이없을만큼 어두침침하고(야외신에서 어떻게 밝은 화면이 단 한 컷도 없냐…) 염세적이지만 제정신인 인물이 하나도 없는 대환장 파티가 새삼 더 마음에 들었다.(…)
자연광이 거의 없이 내내 회색빛이라 마치 큰 무대에서 펼치는 한 편의 연극같은 느낌.
크리스마스 파티 장면에 깔리는 Face to Face를 들으니 이곡에 꽂혀서 수백번은 들었던 고등학교 시절도 생각나고…
엔딩이 1편의 마지막처럼 ‘그리하여 배트맨과 행복하게 살았습니다'(그래놓고 결국 헤어지긴 했더라만…-_-)가 아니어서 미셸 파이퍼의 캣우먼이 가장 멋있게 기억에 남은지도.
